Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Job Duties
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the materials required and plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently
- Weld or bolt sections together
- Lay out reference points and patterns
- Construct patterns and templates
- Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
- Rig, hoist and move materials within shop
Qualifications
- Fitting and welding experience is required (not jig fitting)
- Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical prints
